In my opinion, these are pure junk food with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. But Steve likes them and they're very easy to make, so they're on the menu occasionally.
Melt butter in medium saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and cook until they are melted completely and mixture is syrupy. Remove from heat.
Press warm mixture into buttered rectangular cake pan. After it cools completely, cut into squares.
