mashed potatoes

When I make mashed potatoes for hubby, I make fauxtatoes for myself.

ingredients

• 2 lb potatoes (approximately 3 large, 4 medium or 5 small) - peeled, sliced and rinsed
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 TB butter

method

Place potatoes in pot, cover with water and bring to boil. Cook until soft (approximately 10 minutes). Drain, return to pot, add milk and butter and mash.
